Resolution Criteria:

This will resolve “YES” if one of these major trading card company Panini, Topps, or Fanatics. officially announces or launches a new product incorporating blockchain or NFT technology by Dec 31, 2025. It will resolve “NO” otherwise.

Background

Major trading card companies have been actively exploring blockchain and NFT technology. Panini has already launched NFT collections with the NFL and WWE, while the broader NFT trading card market continues to grow through platforms like NBA Top Shot and Sorare. The infrastructure for creating and trading NFTs is well-established, making it easier for companies to launch new products.

Resolution Criteria

This market will resolve YES if any of the following companies:

  • Panini

  • Topps

  • Fanatics

Considerations

  • The sports card industry has shown increasing interest in digital products, with several successful NFT launches in recent years

  • Market conditions and regulatory environment for NFTs and blockchain technology could impact company decisions

  • The definition of "new product" excludes updates or expansions to existing NFT collections or platforms
