Resolution criteria
This market resolves YES if Google releases Gemini 3.5 (any variation) by January 16, 2026. Resolution will be confirmed via official Google announcements on their blog (https://blog.google/products/gemini/), the Gemini API documentation (https://ai.google.dev/), or official product pages. Any publicly available variation of Gemini 3.5—including Pro, Flash, or other model sizes—counts toward resolution. The market resolves NO if no Gemini 3.5 release occurs by the deadline.
Background
Google released Gemini 3 Pro in preview in December 2025, with Gemini 3 Flash becoming available in preview via the Gemini API and rolling out to the Gemini app. Gemini 3.0 Flash and Gemini 3.5 models are designed to set new standards in speed, cost-efficiency, and scalability. The models are undergoing rigorous testing on platforms like Alamarina and Google AI Studio.
Considerations
Gemini 3.5 has not yet been officially announced by Google. The distinction between Gemini 3.0 and 3.5 remains unclear—Google may release additional 3.0 variants (Pro, Flash, Nano) rather than jump to 3.5. Traders should monitor official Google channels for clarification on versioning strategy.
