Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve based on the official announcement from the Kennedy Center regarding the 2025 honorees. Each answer option will resolve as follows:
YES if the named individual or group is officially selected as a Kennedy Center Honoree for 2025
NO if the named individual or group is not selected
The "No one" option will resolve as YES only if the Kennedy Center officially cancels the 2025 Honors ceremony or announces there will be no honorees for 2025
If additional potential honorees are suggested by users, they will be added to the market following the same resolution criteria.
Considerations
The Kennedy Center Honors has never been cancelled since its inception, though the format was modified during the COVID-19 pandemic
Selection is made by the Kennedy Center's Board of Trustees, who consider recommendations from the Honors Advisory Committee and past honorees
Honorees are ordinarily announced in late July.
