I’m a physics PhD student about to go on medical leave. I have a lot of thoughts about whether to come back, so, prediction market time.

Medical stuff: would rather not go into detail. Currently I am not able to work a 9-5 job, but my condition is usually treatable and I have not exhausted the standard treatment options.

If I have a job offer but haven’t began work on May 1 2026, the relevant item resolves yes. If a job fits in multiple categories, I’ll make a judgement call.
