Ovi is at 8 G / 38 GP this season... and he needs 65 more... I just don't see it 😔

He needs 72 more goals. Since 12-13 or so, he's scored at approximately a 50 goals/full season rate, so I'd expect him to need at most four more seasons. He's 38,, but there are quite a few players who played into their 40s, so this seems altogether likely!
