The most recent AHAR reported a large spike in homelessness between 2022 and 2023 to a record number of 653,104. This exceeds the previous record of 647,258 recorded in the first AHAR in 2007.

@Seanny123 if the new executive order results in a lot more involuntary commitment, it might technically reduce homelessness?
