@zax According to Paragraph 5 of Section 10 of the New York City Charter, a special election will only be held if a mayoral vacancy occurs at least ninety days before the next Mayoral primary election. The primary is June 24th, 17 days away, so the deadline has long passed for there to be a special election this year. This can resolve NO now.
